Windows Media Player 9 series is installed in a Windows 98 bottle by default. Installing it in a Windows XP bottle resolves some issues, but creates other issues.
All strings that appear as garbage in a Windows 98 bottle, including skin names, appear correctly
Media Guide and Radio Tuner are not usable ("connect the player" link results in a script error if Internet Explorer 6.0 is installed, and does not appear at all if Internet Explorer 7.0 is installed)
Windows Media Player Options doesn't work
The wmplayer.exe process may fail to close, in which case it will have to be killed. Alternatively, you can use the "Reset CrossOver" tool.
