So how do you actually get this to install and work?
Windows installer 3.1 will install successfully, but will the crossover setup tool will hang as soon as it finishes, but it will not install in a winxp bottle, only a win2k one. Just wait until setup finishes and when you see the dialog finish but see the progress bar in crossover's install software dialog hung, then kill update.exe and it will work. You can even see msiexec.exe processes as proof.
I used Crossover Mac 10.1.1
Version of Mac OS: 10.7.0
Bottle type: win2k (winxp type complains about windows installer 3.1 already installed and exits)
