When you have associated Winamp with MP3 files for example and you try to load a MP3 file containing special characters by double clicking on it in Konqueror, it won't load properly causing it not to be played. If you try to load the file using the Open File dialog in Winamp, it won't show up in the file list. The only solution is to rename files containing special characters, so that they do not contain any special characters that give problems.
