Warcraft III only lists some 4:3 and few widescreen desktop resolutions in the Video Options menu. The list doesn't include native resolutions such as 1280x800 or 1920x1200. However, the game can run at any resolution you specify manually in the registry. The change isn't revolutionary and most images will still be stretched, especially if you are using a 16:10 screen, but it will certainly reduce the blur appearance of some parts of the game's graphics.

You can save the text above as a ".reg" file and apply it in order to set your resolution to 1920x1200 @ 50hz.
To set your own resolution, browse to that key ("HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\Warcraft III\Video") in Regedit, and double click on the entries listed above. Edit them in "decimal mode" so you can type in the resolution numbers usually displayed in your system's settings.
