You can use OpenGL for better graphics.
Add a DWORD value named "Gfx OpenGL" to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\Warcraft III" and set the value to "1". To start the registry editor, start "Run a windows command", choose the bottle where Warcraft III is installed, and use the command "regedit"
Note : Some versions of Crossover has a problem with running warcraft 3 with OpenGL. If you minimize the game while running in OpenGL mode, there can be some graphical artefacts all over the screen upon restore, making the game completely unplayable. Run in DirectX mode to solve the issue.
