Use OpenGL instead of Direct3D

To switch to OpenGL, just add -opengl to the end of the command line. For example, mine looks like this: 
"/home/ajp/cxoffice/bin/wine" --workdir "C://games//war3" --check 
--winver win2k --cx-app "C://games//war3//Warcraft III.exe" -opengl


Or if you added a shortcut on your desktop, right click the desktop icon and edit the shortcut by adding an argument option at the end of the path:

-opengl
