If you try to regularly install vSphere, it will fail at the very end with an error about "hcmon". vSphere is in fact installed at this point, but if you dismiss the "hcmon" error the installation will be reverted. To get around this, make a copy of the "drive_c" when you get the error, dismiss the "hcmon" error, then replace the original "drive_c" with the copy you made. You can then launch vSphere (and/or create a shortcut) from it's default location in the bottle: "drive_c/Program Files/VMware/Infrastructure/Virtual Infrastructure Client/Launcher/VpxClient.exe"
