Clicking on the the small pop-up menu icon to the right of a layer name does not display the pop-up menu of layer actions - clicking on it simply does nothing. You must right-click on the layer name to access the pop-up menu, and the layer actions all work properly. This work-around affects both the pop-down layer menu at the top of the window frame and the layer tab at the left side of the window frame.
