Date: 20040801. The UD Agent oversees communication between client PC's and the UD servers for sending new Work Units to clients and receiving completed WU's from their clients much like seti@home. The Agent opening process consists of one main and two child threads that in turn open and oversee a child process (a new or in-progress WU) also consisting of one main and two child threads. This child process opens a third small process consisting of a main and one child thread and, I believe it is this third process that calls CreateRemoteThread() to setup the actual grid processing routine on the secondary thread plus establishes the Idle(1) priority. Since CreateRemoteThread() is as of yet unimplemented, the application opens, counts time, is nearly fully functional in all respects. looks pretty but does nothing regarding actual grid computations.
