1. With UFile under Windows, by using the QuikClik Navigator to select a form, then clicking the minus sign (-) to its left, a user can delete a form that isn't needed (like a T5 carried forward from last year's file for an institution with which you no longer have an account). In Windows, a dialog appears to which you must respond Yes to confirm the deletion.
2. In UFile within Crossover 10.0.1 for Mac under OS X 10.6.7, I can't delete a form that way because no confirmation dialog appears, but I can do it like this:
4. If you're only preparing a single return, you might have to create a dummy person to switch between family members, then later delete it. I haven't used a dummy, but have found that if I delete a form, exit UFile, then restart it, the deleted form's gone from the QuikClik Navigator. Presumably the same would be true for a deleted dummy family member.
