When a new instant messaging window, or status window is opened, in rare cases, the window will appear to "roll" around the screen, as if it were a vhs tape that the tracking was off on. This causes Trillian to completely lock up. using "Cleanup Crossover" and restarting Trillian does not fix this problem. It seems to be a problem with window creation coordinates, though it has not been successfully tracked to that.
Fix:
Have all windows created at the same coordinates on the screen, rather than based on last position.
To implement this fix:
Right Click the Trillian icon, and come to "Options" and choose "Preferences", or, click "File" on the contact list, and choose "Preferences".
Choose "Windows" and check, "Don't position based on previous location".
Choose "Initial" subset of "Windows"
Change window creation coordinates (x,y) in the "Size, location, and container" frame to desired settings.
Apply, OK.
