How to Install the Topo Data DVD.
Although on my system the Topo Data DVD could not be read, It is still possible to install the Topo Data DVD by copying the contents of the DVD over the network to your Linux system. The Topo Data DVD install program does not check to see if it is running from a DVD drive (fortunately).
1) Create a temporary directory e.g mkdir ~/topodvd
2) Use your favorite network copy to copy all files from the DVD to ~/topodvd
3) Run the Codeweavers Control Panel | Unsupported Software and run "setup.exe" from the copy you just made of the Topo Data DVD file structure.
The install program runs and correctly updates your Topo program with the Data DVD, You no longer need the Data DVD for using the program.
4) You can now delete your local copy of the Topo Data DVD. e.g rm -rf ~/topodvd
