ToDoList Tips

Installation CrossOver Linux 7.1

Create a new winXP bottle, name it something memorable.  For these instructions I named my bottle 'ToDoList'.

Go to Applications, CrossOver, Configuration and highlight the new bottle.

Click on 'Install Software' and add (you will need to check 'show service packs and dependencies'):

Microsoft XML parser 3.0
MFC ActiveX Libraries

Then, place the 'todolist_exe' folder into your bottle in the following location:

/home/<username>/.cxoffice/ToDoList/drive_c/

Now, go to 'Run a Windows Command', choose the 'ToDoList' bottle and browse to the executable file:

/home/<username>/.cxoffice/ToDoList/drive_c/todolist_exe/ToDoList.exe

And run todolist.

It should open up with the first initial run and ask you the setup questions.  You can then go back through 'Run a Windows Command' to run it again.  If you find it works well, you can use the 'Create Shortcut' button to create a menu item.
