If you make a startup link on your desktop to "The Word" and then run it, the program will initialize and paste a bunch of files onto your desktop making some clutter. If you delete them, they come back next time you run the program. This is annoying. To avoid it, make a folder call "Word" or whatever and put your startup link inside the folder on the desktop. Then open the folder and start the program. All the .ini files will then land in the folder and not on the desktop.
