Occasionally in Witcher the mouse buttons (left and right) stop working completely. In Witcher that is actually a real pain, as the menus to save, exit etc require mouse clicks rather than keyboard returns.
Every time that it has happened to me, however, it can be fixed by just tapping Alt. Then the mouse works as normal.
