If you get no sound when playing the game, try changing the audio settings for the bottle.
In particular, this issue has been reported to be solved by changing the DirectSound Hardware Acceleration from "Full" to "Emulation" in the Audio tab of the Wine configuration. This is found by launching the configuration manager of Crossover Games and, after selecting the appropriate bottle in the "Manage Bottles" tab, clicking on the "Configure" button. The Wine configuration can be edited by clicking on the icon for "winecfg" on the subsequent "Control Panel" tab.
