Most of the graphical bugs can be fixed by editing a preferences file
that the game creates. It will get rid of the upside down graphics and
a few other issues, videos still do not play however.
In your
~/Library/Application Support/CrossOver
Games/Bottles/<Bottlename>/drive_c/users/crossover/Application
Data/The Longest Journey/ folder there should be a Preferences.ini file
(if it's not there please create it). It's a simple text file that
controls some of the graphical settings in the game. It should look
like this to fix the screen being upside down and such.
[Preferences] SfxVolume=1.000000 VoiceVolume=1.000000 MusicVolume=1.000000 bool_Subtitles=1 bool_AprilHighRes=0 bool_ShadowsOn=0 bool_AllowFastForward=0 AudioDevice=autodetect [DirectX] bool_IsDoubleBuffer=0 int_BitDepth=32 bool_ShadowsOn=0 bool_StartFullscreen=1 (if set to 0 the game will run windowed, which has it's own problems) bool_UseHardware=0
