The Original CDs of Legacy of Time are hybrid disks, so it takes a bit of extra work to make it install on a mac. Do the following at your own risk, you except all responsibilities, et cetera.
Open up terminal, and type mkdir cd
(Note: cd is the directory name I choose to use, you can use any one you like.)
Then type
mount -t cd9660 -r /dev/disk1s1 cd
When you perform the installation use the newly mounted cd folder found under your user's folder as the installation folder.
You may have to unmount the disk that automatically pops up from disk utility first.
Once you get cd mounted however, its smooth sailing all the way through the installation.
After you are finished with the virtual disk type umount cd in the terminal to unmount the directory named cd.
