The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Tips

First run hang

- On first run after detecting video card Skyrim will probably hang. Just force it quit and restart it.

- If You have problems with mod managers You can give a try to manual mod installations. MacOS color tags feature can be of great help here. 


- For anyone having graphic corruption problems with CrossOver 16 and “Performance Enhanced Graphic” (CSMT enabled) try this:

Run Command “regedit”

Under “HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Wine/Direct3D add "MaxVersionGL" DWORD with value 30002 (or 40001 if card support OpenGL 4.1) to registry
