The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition Tips

Getting crackly audio? Here's a fix if you're running Skyrim on a Mac

When I first ran Skyrim on my Mac, the only issues I had was crackly audio throughout the whole program.

Thankfully, there's a quick fix that work every time for me!

1. Open your apps and click Audio MIDI Setup.

2. Click on your speakers - for example, I would click MacBook Pro Speakers but this option could differ if you're using headphones - so click whichever sound output you're using.

3. Go to Format - there'll be a dropdown list. Click 96,000 HZ.

That's it! Now launch the program, and (hopefully) your audio crackles will be cast out to Oblivion.

Happy Skyrim'ing!
