As of today I'm playing Tactical Ops on a core i5-7300 iGPU on a Dell 3840x1600 screen with native resolution without a virtual desktop set up in wine configuration.
This system (Lenovo Thinkpad T470) runs the game at 60Hz refresh rate continuously.
