Workaround:
edit the text file: 'C:\GOG Games\Syndicate Plus\dosboxSyndicate.conf'

replace: 'fullresolution=original' to 'fullresolution=1024x768'.
replace 'windowresolution=original' to 'windowresolution=1024x768'.
