There is currently a bug that prevents the menus from working under certain conditions. This generally happens if you are in the Classic UI mode. If you get into that situation here is a way to fix it.
In the Classic mode, the menu is contained in a small window alongwith various tool bars. You can mouse click on a tool bar and drag it off out of the window. Do that for each toolbar. When you remove the last tool bar, the menu becomes attached to the main learning window. Close and restart the application and the menus should work properly again.
