This very popular German tax application runs without the slightest
problem under Crossover Mac. However, neither automatic nor manual
updates are working. This is so because the publisher submits updates
as patches, not as EXE or MSI update applications. It seems to me that
there is a DLL missing in the Wine/Crossover run time environment, which
would be necessary in order for updates to work.
This makes it hard for me to decide what 'medal' to assign to
SteuerSparErklaerung 2011. On the one hand, the program works fine,
just plain 'gold'. On the other hand, it cannot be updated, and for a
tax program, updates are important. So I think it is fair to give it a
'silver' medal in total.
