Steam on CrossOver 24 won't install / update a game possible FIX!
If you are also facing the same issue, that a download / update / install of a game and/or update takes aaaaaaaages then this will surely help you out. At least it did for me.
Over at the CrossOver Discord a member called "James R." mentioned to try activating the Beta for the Steam client.
After I have done so the installs are working perfectly. I get no random download drops or have to restart steam since my drive won't be used anymore at all.
