Statistica 6 installs and updates flawlessly. It will not run, however.
1. With nothing else installed under Xover, any attempt to run it results in a "license expired" error message and a prompt to enter a valid date code--whatever that is.
2. After installing some other software (Sigma Plot and ProCite), I no longer get this error. Instead, Statistica 6 launches and mostly draws its main screen, then aborts with no message. My guess is that one or the other has added some shared library to the "windows\\system32" directory that allows Statistica 6 to get past the "expired" error.
