Playing Shadows of the Empire on Mac OS!

Getting Started

     To begin, make sure that you have turned off any of your "Advanced Settings" on your Steam Bottle. A number of more modern games on Steam need the Advanced Settings to play well, but this game will be negatively impacted by the advanced settings as it is not built for them. So turn them off. After this, install Shadows of the Empire into
Steam, and begin with the game. If you are using the version installed from GOG.com, simply check the advanced settings for the Shadows of the Empire Bottle.  The GOG.com version should be installed as a Windows 7, 64-bit bottle

The game begins with a setup screen. Choose the controls for the keyboard and graphics here. The gameplay works best with a resolution which is close to what your display's native resolution is. Higher than 720p,
however, can slow down the cinematic cutscenes in-between missions or levels in the game.

After setting up the preferences in the launcher, you are set to go! Enjoy the classic Star Wars Game!
