Star Wars Empire at War Gold Pack in Crossover 23.0 and later (GOG.com version)
Hello Everyone! This is a guide for installing and running Star Wars : Empire at War Gold Pack using the DRM-free version of the game provided by GOG.com. This version requires some tweaking.
1) Install Star Wars Empire at War using the Crossover CrossTie Provided (Windows XP, 32-bit install using the GOG.com Installers)
Now, to make sure the app runs with both Empire at War and Forces of Corruption, we need to install two additional components.
2) Install DirectX for Modern Games (Search for it on the Install Option) and choose the Star Wars : Empire at War Bottle for what you already installed, to install Direct X for Modern Games into the Bottle.
3) Install Simple DirectMedia Layer Library 1.2.14 (win32) into the Empire At War bottle too.
There it is! Empire at War should work just fine with the GOG.com version.
