* create a new winxp bottle -> give it a meaningful name... ie; stalker-complete -> install Steam into this bottle -> allow the Steam installation to complete, then quit Steam
* restart the Steam client in this bottle, login to your Steam account, and install (download or restore from steam backup) Stalker SoC
* start/run SoC and adjust the various game options to suit your setup -- spend a bit of time getting this right, be conservative, save your options -and- save your game progress
* download the SoC Complete 2009 mod from -> http://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-complete-2009/downloads/stalker-complete-2009-14-exe-installer <- make sure you get the .exe installer
* install the downloaded .exe mod installer into the same bottle as an 'Other' application - the installer should auto detect your Steam based SoC installation and get things right
* once finished, restart Steam and start SoC -> game menu background should be updated --> start a 'new' game to begin playing the mod content
