Spore mounts Mac side on Linux, needs to mount Windows.
The Spore DVD is a hybrid disc that contains both Mac and Windows installs. On many Linux systems the Mac side mounts instead of the Windows side and Crossover needs the Windows files to install from. To get the Windows side mounted do the following in a terminal.
Unmount the DVD with: sudo umount /media/cdrom0 Remount the DVD: sudo mount -t iso9660 -o ro,unhide /dev/cdrom /media/cdrom0
