I know this one is pretty straight forward, but you need the mfc42.dll to be added into the system32 folder before the install will work.
(edit) Thanks to the user "DON", pointed out that you really should get this dll from the Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 Redistributable package that is included with crossover. Just make sure when installing software click on show dependencies and service packs on the supported software list.
