Object renders black or sketch elements not drawing
If you are encountering issues with objects rendering as black or sketch elements flickering in and out of view, change the system to use software rendering.
Once you have a 3D canvas open (this option will not show if you are on the landing screen, you must have a document open), choose Settings->Options and choose the "View" pane. Then, uncheck "Automatic Selection" and change the drop down to "Software Driven (Advanced)". Close and re-start Solid Edge. Your designs should now render properly again.
