Object renders black or sketch elements not drawing
This is an issue with the graphics drivers. You can switch to software rendering to work around the issue. You have to open or create a new document to change this setting (otherwise the "View" page is unavailable). Then, go to Settings->Options->View, uncheck the "Automatic Selection" tickbox and change the dropdown to either of the "Software driven" choices. Apply, close, and restart Solid Edge.
