I'm currently running the Windows version 13.0.2.0 (2008) under CrossOver on an iMac (Mac OSX 10.5.6). Trying to get this to run by going through the Programs > SlickEdit 2008 will not work. Rather, you need to go to Programs > Run in command... and navigate to the vs.exe. Running this WORKS.
I've used it for about 14 days or so and have had a couple of crashes. I've had to disable Highlighting and Completion off (Tools > Options > Application Languages > C/C++ > Context Tagging) because you lose focus if the mouse hovers over a symbol -- keyboard presses then get ignored... very annoying. I typically have a projects pane on the left side and I've had occasions where the drawing of the files & folders tree either disappear or have duplicates show up. Not a show stopper. General usability is pretty good. I've had to remap some Mac keys to allow certain in-program keys to work. I've noticed that after a while of usage the cursor starts blinking like it's having a heart attack. Annoying, but tolerable. Brief emulation works really well. I'm happy.
