Sketchup Tips

Error: ChoosePixelFormat Failed

  1. From the main menu: Crossover -> Run a Windows Command
  2. Select the bottle that has SketchUp Installed, type in "regedit" and press Run
  3. Browse to: "HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Software -> Google -> SketchUp6 -> GLConfig -> Display"
  4. Double click "HW_OK" and change the value to "1"
If this still does not fix the problem try running "glxgears" and double check to see if your video drivers are installed correctly.

Tested with CrossOver 7.0.0

Note: This issue seems to be fixed in current versions of CrossOver and Wine.
