I'd been using CrossOver Games 9.2 for a long time under Snow Leopard due to regressions in later versions of CrossOver with SimCity. I switched to Mountain Lion on my main boot disk recently and find it's quite an improvement, though with many outstanding issues still mostly unchanged.
First the bad, hardware rendering still doesn't work at all, the game crashes shortly after starting a city and the textures are all messed up as well. With software rendering, the flickering of highlighted buildings that was present in previous versions is still there, though no worse than before. There's also some slight tearing when scrolling in full screen mode, but this goes away in windowed mode.
Other than those things though, performance is noticeably better. Overall smoothness of the animations and scrolling is much improved, and simulation speed is also quite a bit faster than before.
