when installing SharePoint Designer 2007 select "Microsoft Office 2007" as the application you are going to install. SharePoint Designer's full name is actually "Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer 2007" because it is actually a separate part of the Microsoft Office suit. and relies on the same programs as the rest of Microsoft Office 2007, like MSXML3.0 and .NET1.1, by telling CrossOver you intend to install (a part of) Microsoft Office these requirements will be installed automatically, if you want to install it into a existing bottle that contains Office 2007 all requirements will be installed already.
if you want to install in into a existing bottle that does not contain Office 2007 and you do not want to select the program as Office 2007 make sure that both .NET1.1 and MSXML3.0 are installed into the bottle already.
