This issue (fast blinking graphics when playing) does happens when the game in run from the DirectX 12 (mode) shortcut, please prefer running the game in DirectX 11 mode.
Issue occurred on Crossover 22.0.1 on OS Linux Xubuntu 22.04.1 LTS, GPU: AMD (Radeon RX Vega 11).
