When selecting text and having the screen scroll or being at the top of the document, formerly selected text remains black until redrawing. It can look really bad real fast just like in Figure 4 in www-clmc.usc.edu/~peters/swp2.pdf. The same error happens when selecting text and then turning it into a Section, Subsection, etc (i.e., it happens without scrolling to the next page).
