Installation is really simple as the game launcher has switched to using Qt 4 for GUI and WebKit for the browser engine.
All you need to do as installation steps are
Make a new bottle for the game/season
Install the Microsoft DirectX Runtime - Modern to the bottle
Install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable to the bottle
Install Sam & Max Season 3 episode to the bottle
Just launch the game and it will ask for the Telltale login in the launcher. After you have authenticated all you need to do is adjust the settings to your liking and start playing.
