In order to get Telltale Games (Bone, Sam & Max, Strong Bad, Tales of Monkey Island) to work in CrossOver Games, you should install Internet Explorer 6 in their bottle.
If you have several Telltale games to install, do as follows.
1) Download Internet Explorer 6 from Microsoft website at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie6/downloads/critical/ie6sp1/default.mspx
2) Create a new bottle. To do so, click on the "Configure" menu, then "Install Software". Then, choose "Install unsupported software" and choose to install in a new bottle. Set the bottle type to Windows 98 and name it "Telltale", for example. Then, click on "Create". Click the "Install" button in the next screen and then locate the ie6setup.exe file you downloaded from Microsoft's website. Follow the installer, choosing to install a typical installation. Finally, click on "Finish" when the installer is done. CrossOver will simulate a Windows reboot. Click on "Finished" in the CrossOver window when it is done.
3) Click on the Configure Menu and choose "Manage Bottles". Choose the bottle you created in the left-hand list. Click on the "Control Panel" tab on the right and double-click on "winecfg". Set the Windows version at the bottom of the window to Windows XP. Click OK to close the window.
4) To install a Telltale game, create a duplicate of the "Telltale" bottle (click on the "Telltale" bottle and the, on the "Add Duplicate" button) and name it after the game you want to install. Once the new bottle is created, click on "Install Software" in the "Configure menu". Click on "Install Unsupported Software", but this time choose to install into an existing bottle. Pick the new bottle. Follow the wizard and point it to the installer from the Telltale game. Install the game as normal and uncheck "Play Now" at the end of the install.
5) Repeat Step 4 for every additional Telltale game you want to install.

Sometimes, Telltale games will not work in CrossOver games if you play the game in fullscreen mode. You might get a blank screen while the sound effects and music are playing in the background. The weirdest thing is that from one time to the next, the game might display perfectly...
To avoid that (not the perfect display, but the random lack of a display), what you should do is emulate a virtual desktop.
To do so, go to "Manage Bottles" and pick the bottle in which you put the Telltale game you want to play.
Double-click on "winecfg" under Control Panel.
Finally, in the "Graphics" tab, check the "Emulate a virtual desktop" box and pick the resolution you'd like (I'm using 1680x1050 and the games work like a charm).
Your game is now ready. Just launch it from the "Programs" menu.
