Okay, so to successfully install and run Rune Classic in Codeweavers 24 and later, you need to do the following:
1) Use the GOG.com Installer for the game
2) Install the Game as a Windows 7, 64-bit bottle, If the CrossTie preset currently set to Windows 7, 64-bit, then you don't need to change anything.
3) The game should run pretty well. Don't panic at the minimizing of the window on startup. It's not a crash of the game!
