1. Setup

To install RootsMagic 6 in Crossover, first launch Crossover and click the "Install a Windows Application" button:




Now, in the Install Software menu, choose "RootsMagic 6" from the list of Supported Applications and click "Install" to proceed:

2. Proceed through Installation

Crossover will now create a new "bottle" (windows environment for housing RootsMagic) and also download a number of necessary dependency packages for RootsMagic's functionality. These packages will be popping up, now, prompting you to approve their installation. They include the "Microsoft XML Parser":





And Microsoft's Internet Explorer 7:





When this is complete, the RootsMagic installer will pop up:





Walk through the prompts, leaving all of the defaults in place including the install destination - do not change this: 





When the installation completes, RootsMagic will automatically launch as Crossover's Installer process shuts down in the background:

3. Launching RootsMagic 6

From now on, when you want to launch RootsMagic 6, you'll find the launcher icon in Crossover's Programs menu:
