Because Resource Hacker is a stand-alone application rather than a full "Program" that requires installation, You cannot install Resource Hacker via the Install utility. The easiest way to perform a clean install is to follow the instructions below:
Go to Configure-> Manage Bottles when the window opens, select the desired bottle and go to the "Advanced" tab and "Open C: Drive in Finder.
Once Finder opens, select drive_c->Program Files and create a Resource Hacker folder. Now just move the Resource Hacker.exe into the new folder.
Now go to Programs-> Run Command...
-select "browse". This will open the drive_c folder.
-go to Program Files->Resource Hacker->Resource Hacker.exe and select Open then Run.
-Close the application and on the Run Command menu, select Save Command to Programs Menu.
optional:
If you would like the program to be listed in a folder within the Programs menu:
-Go to Programs->Reveal in Finder
-Create a new folder names Resource Hacker and drag and drop the Resource Hacker.exe in the new folder. I prefer this method, because it keeps the Programs list looking a little more clean.
