I have only been able to test the Benchmark Edition, but hopefully most of what I found will apply to the full game.

Installing
Install Windows Media Player 9. It provides some dlls that the application needs and most of the single dll downloads online are too out of date.
Install the game as usual.
The mouse did not work without this for me. This is not an issue for the benchmark edition but for actual gameplay, this will be a problem. In Crossover, go to run command and run "regedit". Under HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Wine/DirectInput create a new string value with the name "MouseWrapOverreide". For me, a value of "force" worked.

Running the game in XP with DX9
All the menus worked, even if the mouse did not work
Running the game (Benchmark edition)
It looks pretty good and ran fine given my settings.
All settings seemed to work, even the highest ones. (AA was not an option for me)
What Did Not Work
AA was not given to me as an option, but this could be my video card or some weird DX10 requirement.
The mouse required some tinkering with (See installation)
The FPS were probably lower than on regular windows
Untested
I did not try this on Vista to use the DX10 features. I assume these would not work.
