During launch, Quicken 2015 checks for updates. If the updates fail, Quicken 2015 is unable to launch. This can be caused by a bad internet connection or by a ill-formed patch from Intuit.
This is known to affect update 6 as of January 2014 and update 10 as of January 2015. Any failure to update Quicken 2015 should be addressed with the following steps. In CrossOver 15:
0. download the latest version of the Mondo patch supplied by Intuit on this page:
1. Ensure that Quicken 2015 is not running on the system 2. Click the Install a Windows Application button in CrossOver 3. Type Other in the Select an Application to Install field 4. Choose the Unlisted application "Other" option 5. In the Select an Installer Source step, click Choose Installer File... to point CrossOver at the Mondo patch executable
Currently named QW2015R10MPatch.exe for update 10
6. In the Select Bottle step, specifically select the Quicken 2015 bottle 7. Click Install & Finish and then Install to apply the Mondo update to Quicken 2015
