At times, Quicken can completely disappear - no close dialogue, no error messages, no crash report by cxoffice, nothing.
Possible causes: clicking too quickly between modal screens, ie. be reconciling an account and then click on another account in the list on the left; or click quit on the Online Update dialogue before the page finishes loading. (These have not been confirmed by others, just me.)
