On rare ocassions, data file (YourBusinessName.QBW) may get stuck in multi-user mode and request all other occurances to be closed (though none are open) before file can open. The only fix so far is to simply copy the data file to another directory and ensure access privelages are correct (issue command in terminal: chmod 755 *.QBW). For some reason, moving the file solves the problem.
