To get fullscreen to work properly, go to the graphics tab in the configuration screen and set both the fullscreen NTSC and PAL resolutions to your desktop resolution and set the aspect ratio to be the same as your monitor. Then in the misc tab change the function of the escape key to exit fullscreen.
But don't try and click anything in fullscreen, it causes… difficulties.
EDIT: Nevermind, fullscreen only works sometimes. The rest of the time it's just a white screen. But do turn off VSynch, it makes the emulator run far to fast.
