If you installed Postbox with the CrossTie, you thankfully shouldn't need to go and play with RegEdit.
However wWhen you click a web link, a pop-up will ask you which application to use to open it, and it's not exactly explicit, as it's a Windows pop-up that doesn't detect Linux binaries.
What you can do is navigate the file selector to /usr/bin then manually type the name of the application you want (chromium in my case). Then click OK, don't forget to check the box to do this by default, and voila! Links now open to your local browser and not an outdated IE.
